Adrienne left this week to Houston for a speaking engagement at Praise Christian Center in Houston, TX and Carla went with her. I'm home with Al and the girls and it has been a juggling act for me. They have only been gone since Wed, but it seems like they've been gone a month! Some of you Dad's know what I'm talking about. Carla left me no instructions, so I have had to figure stuff out by myself in matters that I don't usually handle. Maybe she's trying to make me better appreciate what she does. I do, but I'm not ready to admit it at this moment in time.
On top of all of that, I was involved in a "hit and run". The good news is: "I didn't get caught!" Not really. I was enjoying a paddle boat ride with my girls at the Canal Walk in downtown Indy. As we were returning to our car, we noticed that the back windshield was shattered. I thought that someone had broken into the car and my notebook computer (which has not been backed up for ages) was in the back. But when we looked inside, nothing was missing - praise God! Then on the front windshield, someone left a note that someone ran into the SUV and kept going. He left information of the type of vehicle it was and the company name on the truck. Anyway, no drama, all is well, and we still win! Take that, devil!
No weapon....you know!
P.S. Mama will be home tonight and I'm counting the hours!
